Incredible Incredibox

Incredibox is a music-maker where you can make your own music on a computer.
You see seven cartoon men, all lined up waiting to be chosen. There are different colored hats, glasses and masks that you can choose to dress each man in a whole outfit. Each outfit has a sound or a beat.
When all seven men are dressed, it makes a song!

When you go to the website, at the top you press on DEMO, which takes you to the seven different modes. Each mode has all different sounds, no mode is the same. My personal favorite is 'The Love'.

I find making music makes me feel calm and excited! I try to make the same sounds as the Incredibox men - my mum sometimes gets annoyed by "irritating repetitive noises!" but we both like the finished songs. My mum wonders if I should be a DJ and mix lots of songs together.

It's a BEAR....

My favorite kind of on-line learning is... watching Bear Grylls 'You vrs Wild'!

In this program Bear goes on adventures in wild places like the forest, the desert and the snow mountains.  When a problem comes up you get to choose what Bear does to see if it works. For example in the last episode I watched, Bear was in the desert. There was a situation where he had to get down from the high rocks, either rock climb down or use a rope. I chose a rope and it worked! Sometimes it doesn't work and he has to call in his team to help him. Once, my mum sent him sliding down a snow cliff and he nearly fell off the cliff. This was the wrong choice!
I've learnt lots of things - did you know that you can turn spider, scorpion and snake venom into medicine?
I'm going to watch another episode now!

My Lock Down House

We moved house on March the 20th - it was the Friday before LOCK DOWN!

We moved to Mangere Bridge. 

We have to go up a long, long, long driveway, and you see three houses. Our house is first.   

The view from our porch is the Manukau Harbour and I can see Rangitoto Island, One Tree Hill, the Sky tower and the dairy!

We also have a big mountain behind us. When we go up to the top we can see over to Mount Roskill. 

We have a trampoline. It arrived during Lock down, we were so excited! 

My brother Noah and I put it up after lunch with some help from Michael, Mum and Dad. 

Day 3 SLJ 3 Superhero choices.

Hi bloggers.

 Today we are doing the superhero choices. I would choose invincibility because then I would never die. And secondly I'd have super strength because I can save people. And when my older brother try's to beat me up I would actually win. 

Finally I would be able to fly cause then I'd fly with the birds and it would be super fun. The main one would be flying because my brother would be jealous. My superhero name would be Misty man.

My Story about Football after Christmas

Football after Christmas

After Christmas me, my brother,and some friends went to play football at the school. I got goalie gloves and a goalie top so I took them. “That present I loved” My brother got a football top so he took that. He loved that. Then we went to the school. Go! We started. Our friend Torian passed to me “pass back,” he yelled.  I passed, he shot……. GOAL!!! “ Nice T” I said.

 My brother Noah had the ball he passed to his friend William he shot…. Nice try. “I saved it” (I was rush goalie) 

We zoomed down the field rushing to the goal.  Bang!! Owww arrhhhh “T are you okay”? 

Nah I think I rolled my ankle. Do you need to go home? Ummm ‘nah all good. I’m gonna rest for a bit kay. 2 on 1 now. “You start” pass Noah ‘William said. Running up the field. Noah says cross it William. He crossed. Get the header  Goal!!!! Nice Noah. Torian come back in now, kay we start though. T you start okay.
